Screens 4 4 – Access Your Computer Remotely Windows 10 Cmd
- On your local Windows 10 PC: In the search box on the taskbar, type Remote Desktop Connection, and then select Remote Desktop Connection. In Remote Desktop Connection, type the name of the PC you want to connect to (from Step 1), and then select Connect.
- I use the remote desktop app to log into my work computer and I can't get it to use both my monitors while logged in. They both work great when I'm not actually logged into my work computer. In the previous Windows version you could right click on the RDS shortcut and select edit, then under display just check the box to use all my monitors.
- Allow remote access to your Windows 10 computer. By default, Windows 10 doesn't allow remote access to your computer or device. If you need this kind of access, you must manually enable it. Here's how: Click the search bar on the taskbar.
